“The Rebel Loon Archive: Art Against Operation Metro Surge” Book Release Party
Gather with neighbors and artists from 5 p.m.—8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29 at Dual Citizen Brewing Company to celebrate the publication of—and finally get your hands on a physical copy of—The Rebel Loon Archive: Art Against Operation Metro Surge.
All artists who have submitted work to the Rebel Loon Archive are encouraged to attend and be recognized, whether or not your work was selected for this book.
If you wish to pick your book up in person at the event rather than having it shipped to you, contact us and we’ll be happy to arrange that. A few copies will also be available for purchase at the event.
This is a free event. Dual Citizen Brewing has many libations available for purchase, and there’s always a food truck outside (or you can walk over to Spicy Feta and bring your takeout back to the brewery!). There will also be plenty of art on display, and we’re excited to feature a variety of the incredible works that weren’t included in the book.

Rebel Loon Archive Gala
Join us for the Rebel Loon Archive's inaugural fundraising gala from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 15th. We are partnering with the Ramsey County Historical Society to host this event at the stunning Landmark Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Over the course of the evening, guests will enjoy diverse musical performances, a silent and live auction, and dinner by Sean Sherman's Indígena by Owamni.
The gala's dress theme is "Migration," and guests are invited to interpret the theme creatively. Come in your best migration-themed formalwear, whether that's understated or bold.
This fundraising gala will support our programming, staffing, and archival work preserving and sharing art that’s been donated to us, including hundreds of protest signs from the No Kings 3 rally.
We will donate 5% of gala ticket and sponsorship revenue received directly by the Archive to Unidos MN. We will also donate 5% of gala book & merchandise sales to the Immigrant Defense Network. These two organizations have staunchly defended immigrants and democracy in our communities, and we are honored to support them.
